First, I'm not going to believe some random person on the Internet who claims to have secret knowledge about anything and can't back it up with facts.
Second, it would make very little sense and be completely counter-productive for them to attempt to "sue" anyone over redeeming multiple groupons. They have had even more costly mistakes in the past and never did squat. The only thing I could have seen them maybe do is suspend accounts, but that would have happened months ago.
Nothing is going to happen. Nothing to see here. Move along people.

As a follow-up to my previous post, they DID have the following verbiage in the Groupon offer:
Paid value will be applied to first purchase.
Technically this should have read 'paid value will be applied first'.

Since you had to purchase the base in-store credit first, in order to obtain the promotional credit, it is certainly logical that they apply the former before the latter. You couldn't have had the promotional credit added before the paid credit, so IMHO, they are following their policy.
Regardless, this deal is half a year old, and everyone with sense used up all of their credits right away and didn't sit on them long enough for this to matter.

A follow-up on this.
I too had $28 worth of this promotion expire. However, after having a conversation over drinks w/ an attorney and doing some research they may be doing this illegally.
If you look at the store credit history in your account it will show two separate account credits, one for $25 (paid) and the other for $45 (promotion). The $25 amount states no expiration date, (N/A) while the $45 amount (in my case) shows an expiration of 3/9/2013.
After reviewing their Legal Agreement as it applies to store credits, section F states:
If you have more than one in-store credit, then the credits will be processed according to the age of the credit, with the oldest in-store credit being applied first.
There is no other verbiage applicable to store credits sharing the same age, or if it will be at the discretion of GoDaddy to make this determination.
Ultimately there is a hole in the LA that may be misappropriating the credits and their legal obligation to the value of the collected funds.

|SackaNub||Mine expired a day early. I still had $27 left which I was planning to use. I complained to Groupon and they gave me $12 groupon credit. I much rather have the $27 GoDaddy credit though :\|

|Xeroday||Godaddy told me that the expiration date is not actually Feb 27th. It's 60 days from the day you redeemed it, even though it never said that. So for people who redeemed before December 29th, your credit expired way earlier than was stated.|

The rest disappeared because that part expired.
Per the terms, the principal never expires (what you paid, the $25) but the bonus expires if you didn't use it by now - or apply it by now, that part confuses me too.

Many codes no longer work with store credit.
If you have a code that does work, then the final page before you pay will show 0.00 and it will show taking from store credit.
If your code does not work with instore credit, you will NOT see any option to use the credit.
99% of codes no longer work with in-store credit. A very few do.
