|claysmcc||Got an email Friday that my HP trade in rebate check for $100 was in the mail. Pretty happy overall with this printer. Thanks.|

|Scampsters||Tried to do the OfficeMax trade-in and they said the HP laserJet Pro was not on the included list eligible for trade in.|

|thelama||Scampsters tips worked. I received my shipping label today for the $100 rebate off a crappy old non-HP printer I had. Very slick deal now with the rebate. Had it not worked, I was considering a return. Good luck!|

I did that first. They rejected the email receipt saying that it wasn't detailed enough. I printed a web receipt and they rejected that as well. I finally had to get OfficeMax send me something better, and that's when I got rejected for already having a rebate.

What I would advise you do and this probably wont work for me either
Click on the email from OfficeMax after it gets delivered - and then click either print - if your faxing it or email to me if you want to email the required rebate info.
My invoice shows item total $249.99 + $21.70 tax
It doesn't show the $50 off price at all - gave them the quote number for a trade in for the Samsung ml2525 and it says ill get $100 - Once it gets accepted I hopefully should get my shipping label.

Not Such A Slick Deal After All
I received the following reply when I attempted to register for the rebate. It appears the 50SAVE code with OfficeMax makes the trade-in get rejected. I will surely be sending this printer back for a refund:
Thank you for your interest in the HP Trade-In & Save 2013 Program. Your quote number is xxxxxxx. We are rejecting your claim based on the following: This offer MAY NOT be combined with (or "stacked" with) other promotional offers or trade-in programs, instant rebates or instant savings.

|thelama||Has anyone received a final confirmation on their $50 or $100 HP rebate yet after providing all the required information (copy of order, serial number, copy of confirmation email)?|

It would seem the problem with the HP rebate denial from the other member came when they sent in the order confirmation email (hence then HP noticed the discount).
Sounds like possibly yours might get denied too.

• Entered code 50SAVE for the printer
• Net cost was $249.99 after code
• I then went to the HP trade in program: http://www.hp.com/united-states/t...Zk5L7p9_Lw
• This HP color laser is listed on last page as eligible (http://www.hp.com/united-states/t...oducts.pdf)
for the program to trade in an old HP at $50, or non-HP at $100 in rebate. My non-HP was listed as eligible (http://hp.tradeups.com/Customers/...&outletid=)
, I submitted the request and received back a confirmation email and code. My next step is to send HP my copy of order with serial # when the printer arrives, along with my confirmation email.
• Someone else had brought up that OfficeMax had a $50 trade in rebate too, that I hadn’t thoroughly investigated yet. I figured only if eligible, might try that too but not to interfere with my HP rebate.

Not sure if you can get this too, but might be worth a try.
