It's only a good deal if it isn't gross, and that stuff is gross. If you stir it and leave it in the cupboard, it is so thin you can pour it out of the jar. Or you can put it in the fridge, then realize how mealy it is rather than smooth and creamy. I agree, great price, but not if you can't it eat.
And as for the palm oil, they must remove peanut oil otherwise it would be way too thin. The palm oil simply doesn't separate out like the peanut oil does.

And if you stir the peanut butter once (real natural peanut butter...no added oil...no sugar..no salt) and put it in the fridge it stays firm.
Best deal is costco organic natural roasted peanut butter....4.5 POUND jar...$6
