|TheX-Man||I'm not sure if they still offer the card, but Citi's MTVu College card also has 5 points per dollar on amazon. It's my favorite card, and amazon is my favorite store ^_^ I wish I held onto some of my points. I cashed out a ton of $50 giftcards for 6000 points each last year thinking they'd never return to $1:100 point ratio.|

Only saw $50 for 5000 points for Sony style, but check the gift card section and clicked Lowe's, they pull down menu showed $50 for 5000 points.

|SDNYC||That's weird that it is showing up as 5k for some people and 6k for others. I can tell you that I just bought a $50 Lowe's card for 5k points, so it did work for me ...|

I use the Amex Platinum for my business and home expenses and the reward points [redeemed as Amex GCs usually and used anywhere except certain small grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations] are FAR better than the POS Citi points!! Most of my X'mas, B'day, Anniversary etc shopping is paid with these points!!

Spend more than $6,500 on your Card and boost your cash back from 0.5% to 1.25% on every purchase you make. Plus, you can go from 1% to 5% on everyday items like groceries and gasoline. <<--, got this info from their site just now (this is not what i've) I've 5% on everything after 6K in spending anywhere
