|tofuyan||My first dutch oven was a le creuset in a 2&3/4 quart on sale from the WS outlet. I had used it for everything from soups, cooking rice, sausages, baking bread, and much more. It finally had the enamel cracked inside this past month. Thank goodness for its lifetime warranty, they are replacing it for me. They don't make the 2&3/4 quart anymore, so they will be sending 3.5 quart to me. The only cost was shipping to Le Creuset of my damaged pot. But that was about $14. But I have heard that these Le Creuset pots are to last for a long long time. And people usually hand it down to the next generation and so on.|

I'm pretty sure the it is the new one that's made in france.
On one of the other threads it was the "Made in china" one that was on clearance and my costco has a huge stack of not on clearance new made in france dutch ovens.
They are very nice but unfortunately the color blue is not available.
This 4 quart pot is a real work horse. We use ours almost every single day. If the quality is as good now as it was 20 years ago it is well worth every one of the 99 dolars.
