|Yottabyte||Yeah the promo code still works but the base price has been raised back up. The Blue Rip Jaws X series with the free flash drive is now a better deal.|

|humblepie||I got 16GB of this stuff for my main comp and it's running nicely. I'm just a bit upset that I paid about $90 per 8GB for this stuff about 8 months ago.|

whats the difference between the ram posted here (model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL) and the one posted a couple weeks ago Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL?
the timing on this ram is: 9-9-9-24-2N
and on the other one it's: 9-9-9-24
what does the 2N stand for?

I originaly purchased 2 seperate 4GB sticks @ around $150 a piece, the price droped and they offered a promo code got 2 sticks for $189. you cant beat that what an amazing deal for this amazing RAM. I'm up to 16Gb now ;maybe I'll purch 8 more,to bad the sale ends tomorow the 22nd, hopefuly they'll keep the price reduced you cant go wrong with @ $95 a stick
What a difference 9 months makes!
