|verdi1987||Is anyone's rebate showing up on www.rebate-zone.com/kingston yet? My last Kingston rebate showed up very quickly (within days) after mailing, but this one is not in the system yet.|

Can someone please answer my question? Will this RAM work with my Dell Optiplex 320? I have DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 (non-ECC)
Is this RAM backwards compatible with mine? Thanks

How do you do the rebate? I didn't get a receipt with the package.
All I got was the packing slip and the memory. I never got a receipt which is what you need to get the rebate.
"Receive a cash rebate when you purchase specified Kingston product from Buy.com. Valid from July 11, 2011 through July 18, 2011. Print this coupon and fill
out all requested information and mail it with the original sales receipt or a copy of the original sales receipt and the original UPC codes to the address listed
below. Sales order confirmation emails and/or packing slips will not be accepted as proof-of-purchase."
All I got was a sales order confirmation email.
***Figured it out.
Click on view order and select the order with the rebate.
Top right corner (blue bar) there's a view printable receipt tab.

If you can find a memory kit rated at your desired bandwidth with a lower voltage specification, you're generally going to be better off. The reason for lower-voltage memory being more desirable is primarily due to the fact that lower power consumption equals less heat generated by the DIMMS. Less heat in a computer is good for a variety of reasons including longer lifespan and better overclocking potential.
My personal advice is to not worry too much about the voltage unless you are really an overclocking junkie (e.g., "professional" overclocking). 1.65V DIMMs are going to work just fine for you. This memory is currently the lowest priced 8GB kit I've seen on SD yet (after rebate anyway), so if you're in the market for new DDR3 memory, I'd say go for it!
