Check your statements. I got an automatic $25 credit + $7.XX finance charge adjustment (?) a couple of days ago on both of my OPEN cards.
Edit to add: by the way, this deal is long dead.

i got this 25 credit back as "adjustment" appearing on my statement. The call and the manual adjustment seems to work fine.

I called in again today and a CSR said he had initiated and processed the manual credit
I will wait and see and update again.
I guess ppl like me should either call or SM. This promo, unlike other Amex promos, seems to take a lot of hassles...Don't know why.
From my past experience, AMEX is doing pretty good in the promo credit. For example, my wife got her targeted $10 OD credit automatically within 10 days after the purchase...
Quote:my last post on Oct 8th:
the credit needs 2 billing cycles to be posted to your account
I called and this was told by a representative. Just FYI.
As she said, this is a pretty standard promotion.
Based on the reputation of Amex, I guess I am fine with giving it another month~

order of operation should go like this;
a) send SM to get confirmation of offer
b) make purchase and keep receipt (incase u have to return items)
c) send SM following up you made purchase and it shows on ur account
d) wait few days for credit to post.

|m124||Everyone who thinks about getting this deal from this point forward, regardless of what CSRs tell you, please proceed with caution because CSRs are known not to always disseminate correct information. If you call, it would be wise to follow-up with a secure message as well so that you have the answer in writing.|

|BrandNameChic||It's only for open business cards? Darn. Maybe I should open an account. Do we have to own a business to open that type of account? Lol|

I spoke with an AX csr about this. She says the deal is targeted, and it is not on my Costco Amex Business OPEN card. Oh well.
Early in the thread, it was thought that all Gold and OPEN cards automatically had it, no sign up needed. Guess not, that is apparently why people had to get manual credits.
Congrats to those that got it, but I'll pass.
