just wanted to get some feedback - Im in MA.. ive been calling retention for the past 3 years and each time they gave me a new deals. This time they (3 reps) said no go. So i scheduled to cancel my services next week.
Can we sign up as a new cust from the website using my wifes info? she has never been in their customer database before.

Is there a thread with Internet/TV bundles? I may consider getting a bundle if it's $60 or less and includes ESPN and Disney. I have an HD HomeRun Prime so I won't have to rent any of their equipment.

I was on the 25mbps plan for $30/month for new customers. The price jumped to $67 after the promo price ended which is pretty ridiculous.
I called their customer service at 1.800.934.6489 to cancel. They offered $45/month for 12 months, no contract for the same 25mbps speed. It's still a 50% increase in price, but I took it. I'll decide whether to jump ship to AT&T if they have a much better offer.
The competing offer at AT&T is 18mbps + basic TV + HBO for $39/month for 12 month contract online. However if you order online they tack on a $99 one-time install fee AND a $7/month equipment charge. I'm not sure if these could be waived by calling in to order and mentioning that you have your own equipment and want to do a self-install.

So is there a specific number to call for a deal? I called 877-298-0903 last year and got the 1 year $30 a month deal. This year I tried calling the same number because my price is going up and I can't reach anyone at the number. Retentions isn't giving me any deal.
On the Comcast site all I see is $40 a month for new customers so I'm trying to see if I can get the $30 again for a year for the performance 25mb download.
Please let me know if anyone has a specific number to call, I'm in NH.

|Superorb||Canceled my 25mb plan that I was paying $70/month for the past 6 months for. Got my last bill and they charged a $30 non-returned equipment fee. They also have tried to charge me $7/month several times for modem rental fees. I bought my modem 8+ years ago, I have never rented a modem. Comcast has the worst business practices. Makes you wonder if they charge everyone and collect tons of unwarranted fees.|

|nyknicks8||I got lucky at got the 50Mbps plan for $24.99 going on 7 months now. Before that I was on the 25Mbps plan for $24.99 for 6 months.|
