|chuckd||Where can you buy these parts to build the same thing for $600? Do tell.|

|trip1eX||OK I guess it is an outright deal although I'd rather build my own for almost $500 less and be in the ballpark with a fatter wallet.|

|Coraanu||The Dell deal would have tax for more people. Newegg might make sense.|

this is a pretty good deal...
it has a ASETEK liquid cooling kit equivalent to the OEM corsair H50 or H60 , or the OEM Kuhler equivalent.
Just the cpu/cpucooler/mobo/psu/gpu/BD drive/keyboard/mouse costs more than $1100,
cpu/mobo combo 280+110 microcenter
cpu cooler= 65ish on sale
psu = $90+ probably closer to $110
gpu = $450 slickdeal
BD drive = 65 slickdeal
tactx keyboard.mouse = 110 (of minimal use, but it is a good mouse)
that brings you to $1170.
mobo has 2 PCIE x16 slots can do 2x gtx 580 in future
good psu if you actually get a 875w
no media reader
90 day warranty,... if you spend approx 250 more you can buy from dell outlet direct and get a 1 year warranty
the warranty is the kicker, especially on a OEM installed liquid cooling CPU rig. ASETEK Roulette.

More than likely it is a 2600k, but this price is higher than the 25% off Alienware at the Outlet a few weeks ago.

|LeviathanUltima||How easy is it to switch out the stock power supply with another one?|
|09-22-2011 07:58 AM|
|IxSyaoranxI||This is okay for a computer user who doesn't want the hassle of building a computer for gaming since it has the 2600 and GTX 580 but the lower power supply of 525 Watts would be a concern.|
