|rhondabertucci||Guys I need help. I have an ATT account. My contract ended lastweek. One month back i had an issue with my iPhone 5 (which I bought through apple site about 2 years back) and had my insurance company replace the old phone with a new refurb phone. The new Phone i received is unlocked one and its working fine with the t-mobile $30 plan sim. My question is Can i now buy another ATT locked iPhone 5 from EBay or craigslist and request that device to be unlocked by ATT since my contract is over? Will that work? or do ATT have my old iPhone 5 IMEI number as part of my account? Any idea?|

Hey, This has been a while, but I was wondering if you could help me out. I went to this plan, then went back to ATT on their shared plan. Now I want to go back to tmobile, but their simple choice plan. I was trying these steps and when I connect phone to PC, it does not detect. I'm pretty much stuck on detecting phone on QPST.
Phone is on: RNDIS + DM + MODEM
Samsung drivers show COM Ports 3, 4
Added both to QPST and both do not show up
I've tried changing phone settings to diff, but no luck
Thanks either way. Def thanks for the post I replied to.

The iPhone 6 does use a nano SIM *however* I believe that the NFC feature requires a new SIM card that's embedded with the NFC technology. This T-Mobile link says you'll need to "Install a T-Mobile Advanced SIM card" in order to use NFC on their other NFC-enabled phones, although it doesn't mention iPhone 6:
This Verizon link seems to support the same idea that a new SIM card is needed to support NFC and Apple Pay:
Tried calling T-Mobile but their tech support was clueless. I've been very happy with the $30/month plan but am looking at switching to Verizon's $60/month plan to get the better coverage and a highly subsidized phone. Hoping I won't need to, but I'm not totally convinced that my current SIM will work the iPhone 6 and will need to figure that out before I make any decisions.

Can someone please answer my two questions since I just got the Hangouts 2.3 update today.
If I call someone with my GV # over wifi, will it use my 100 mins?
If I call someone with my GV # over data, will it use my 100 mins?
