Got my order today...have to say that I was expecting the Punch Magnum to kick ass given the 90+ claims and the brand but I almost have to agree with this review: http://www.cigarreview

|Dragonsnack||My grandfather-in-law enjoys cigars. Are these of high enough quality to make a nice gift?|

I have an Xikar but I am just as happy with the cheap plastic cutters.
Also you are not going to taste lighter fluid in your cigar. You are lighting it not soaking it. That is misinformation. The fluid is not going to effect the tobacco after the initial light.
This is 100% misinformation perpetuated by the cigar lighter industry. It is 100% BS.
The idea is to smoke the cigar not impress it with nice accessories

Agreed. Even for the casual smoker, a decent cutter and torch are a must.
Nothing is more frustrating than a bad cut and tasting lighter fluid in your smoke!
Xikars are great, the lifetime warranty was a major selling point for me.
This deal seems solid. that little humi would make a nice coffee table piece to hold the "on deck" smokes.
I gotta think about this one...

|rickrone||this is not for the beginner smoker, these are more medium to full. the cutter is crap, they give this away with any purchase at my local cigar store. i love my xikar and would buy another one, but it has a lifetime warranty.|

|chris98891||so tempted...do better deals on humidors/nice cigars come around often?|

Get a piece of tupperware and get some humidification gel and keep it in a cool dark place and you'll be fine.

The cigars are a good mix of mild to full

Agreed, 5 Vegas are poop. Still this is a pretty good deal.
Bluefakeplastic - Yeah, a humidor like this would suit your needs well, just make sure to do some googling on how to "season" a humidor, and do that first. The long and short of it is a shot glass filled with distilled water for 3 days or so (unopened) will be perfect, then just use the crappy humidity thing in the humidor.
