Recently bought a $99 Samsung Captivate for my wife from Cowboom (this appears to be their regular price for this phone now).
I used their free shipping, and it arrived exactly one week after I placed the order. The packaging leaves a bit to be desired (the phone was in a bubble-wrap-padded manilla envelope, loosely tossed into a UPS box big enough to put half a dozen such envelopes in). However, the phone arrived in the condition it was described ("light scratches on the edges").
I didn't get my shipment notification email until 5-6hrs AFTER I received the phone, though. Their website doesn't offer any way to track shipped orders; your order just shows as "Closed" once it's shipped.

Cowboom pre-owned products are hit or miss. I've gotten a few that were ok, but I also got a few that were in horrible shape. I haven't gotten any items from them that were in like new or excellent condition. I've also noticed that quite a few items I have gotten were obviously poorly refurbished.
For example, I've gotten phones from them which have lots of dust under the screen, obvious marks around the edges where they snapped open the case, and obvious signs around the screen where you can tell that the screen or digitizer has been replaced. Also shipping is super slow, they usually wait several business days before they even ship your item (i always use the free shipping option). Don't expect to get your item for at least 7 business days from when you place your order.

When we buy a phone from cowboom, does it mean a phone with no "Notes" is better than the ones with "Notes" such as Light scratches on lcd screen? thanks.

|triwood||Was the Nexus S ever in stock? That's an incredible price for the i9020T, even for used. I am thinking price error or the one they had in stock for $129.99 looked like it had been thrown off a cliff.|
