|Hrshycro||Darn. I would have jumped on this one, but...guess it's back to the waiting train...|

I've still got it in my cart to see if it drops below what I paid in the next two weeks so I can get some money back. I'll bump this thread back to the top if it drops to around what I paid again.

[Up to $1200] Samsung PN59D550 59" 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV for $1081
UPDATE: As of Sunday morning this TV is now up to $1199.99. I'll try to update this again if it drops back down.
Amazon currently has a Samsung 59" 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV (Model PN59D550) for $1080.95 . Looks to be the lowest price it's ever been on Amazon and the lowest I've found it anywhere else is over $1300.
I first saw this in a store and really liked it. I looked it up on Amazon when I got home and it was almost exactly what I had saved...then as I was researching the TV it dropped to within $15 of my TV fund! The reviews I've read on this TV seem to mostly be really good, though there are some that complain of a hum and/or the brightness flickering up and down. Some people say the brightness thing is due to a setting that can be turned off, some say it can be taken care of with a firmware update, some say there isn't a fix. I don't know, just got my fingers crossed that I won't even have to worry about it.
There are no 3D glasses included with this TV but they can be found for as cheap as $30 a pair on bestbuy.com and other places.
I ordered about 9:45PM today (Saturday the 19th) and am scheduled to get it on Wednesday! Can't wait!
