Look for Target's 1/22 ad. I am told that H&R Block Deluxe 2011 Federal + State + efile will be on sale for $39.99 possibly with $10 GC. This $10 coupon is good through 1/28:

Does anyone else find it strange that Target ONLY sells the Deluxe Federal + State version in stores, even in the states that don't have state taxes such as Texas?
I found out the hard way yesterday when I tried buying the Deluxe Federal only version in a store.
Anyone know of a great way to get this version elsewhere?

Worked as OP expected. We paid $31.58 after tax including a $10 GC.
$31.58-$10 GC-$01 MIR = $11.58
Repped you OP.

|vortix||Great deal - if you don't want to try price matching, you will still get the software for $15. I updated the wiki with the simplified method without worrying about the YMMV nature of the OD price match.|

|ishitalot||Can anyone confirm rebate also includes versions with + States? I do not see this in the rebate form. Thanks.|

The CSR manager at the first Target I stopped by last night was a complete a$$$$$. She told me this, literally, "Uh, we just can't match to other retailers' sale price. Plus, there's a $15 giftcard rebate from OD and Target's PM policy clearly doesn't allow that."
When I pointed to the Target's PM printing right there at the CSR desk, she told this.......get ready to laugh......."Sir, that's not Target's written policy about PM in black and white. The words are in "GREY and WHITE". I knew I was dealing with a high-school drop out moron so I left.
The second Target, which was about 4 miles down the street, gave me absolutely NO RESISTANCE whatsoever. My local OD weekly ad shows this item on sale for $29.99!!!!

|roverman||Works for me with price match. Also used 5% off Target RedCard --- That saved me another $1 but tax was 1.76 for me not 1.45 so I got it for a net $11.19, not $11.76 as YankeeRedneck. This of course, assumes that H&R will honor the photo-copy of the mail in rebate -- I have no reason not to believe they will tho.|

So, if you come across a sales associate who's not familiar with their policies or who may be aware of their policies but choose to be lax, then you'll probably be able to get the price match first before the Target coupon is applied.
