Sunday 1/15 Update - still alive!
Success reported at Costco locations in San Diego County and Glendale, AZ. Those are just the places I've been getting feedback on.
San Marcos had a ton of them just before closing Saturday night and will likely still have them on Sunday, if you're still thinking of venturing out this weekend.

Went back to this Costco location Saturday night, again an hour before closing, and they still had plenty of hams in stock (indeed, restocked) at this price. So, at least in the greater San Diego County area where people have confirmed finding them, they do seem to have quite a few left for those who wish to take advantage or didn't think they'd be lucky.
