This set doesn't include the peace keeper wars so make sure you get a copy of that also.
This set is hefty guys, each season is 6 discs.
They also sold them as separate complete seasons, this set also has 1 or 2 bonus not included if you buy 1 season at at time.
I think the whole wild west in space thing was off putting.. I remember when it premiered on TV it looked stupid so I didn't bother watching.
Couple years later I watched it an found it was pretty good, series of course long dead by then.
Of course iirc it was on FOX, those people are idiots.
Farscape was good too though, very wacky but good if you just "went with it"

|Whiskers3||Amazon puts this same series on sale every so often at this price, got it 1/4/2011. It's a excellant set if you like that sort of thing. If you can't afford it right now, or are so cheap your adverse to sale tax, or one of them wal-mart haters, just watch amazon for awhile, i'm sure it'll show up again. As some have mentioned such things, I will clarify some details, this is a older tv series so yes it is a full screen release. This will not have the peacekeeper wars, which also gets placed on sale regularly, but it does include the pilot, so if you want the full set, no need to order that separately which is available. I think Peacekeeper wars usually goes on sale for $10, Personally I'm too cheap to pay that much for a single disk, Netflix has it for those who are adept at dealing with these things.|

Yep. It would probably have looked great on Bluray if all the original 35 mm elements hadn't been lost (plus all the post production and Special effects were done SD) so the Blu were sourced off the best 576i PAL masters they could find. The video is slightly better overall particularly in areas other than pure detail, the audio is a major leap forward.
The first 3 seasons are 4:3 as originally broadcast though the 4th season is 16:9.
The supplements are superb. The Bluray set was available for $65-70 a couple places over the holiday sales season, but not so good right now.
