|Kerroj||The deal for the power shovel is still active. The shipping killed it for me initially when this was first posted, so I went down to my local friendly Target store and applied for their REDcard. Signing up was surprisingly easy! I got my REDcard in the mail yesterday and used it to order 3 power shovels online as gifts for next Xmas. 5% discount + free shipping + sales tax = 104.64 shipped (34.88 each shipped, not including the 3% cashback from E*bates.) I received email confirmation from Target that they were shipped today.|

|skopchak||I ordered last Sunday when I posted it. I called this morning and the first guy told me I had to return it and order it again. I called back and got a woman and told its ridiculous to keep sending me this thing and she gave me the credit.|

I vouch for the snow blower. Got mine years ago I think for a $130 @ Amazon and have never seen it this low since. Usually runs about $249.
Mine has held up very well and was used on a nasty gravel driveway and has thrown many 2-3 inch pieces of gravel with no harm to the machine.
Tosses the snow a good way and even gets into the heavy water laden layer at the bottom a good bit. Have a large driveway about 60' X 15' and this thing really saves my back. Dug out from about 40" snow with it. Way easier than shoveling. I'm in Maryland and even with the size my driveway feel this is more than enough considering our average snowfall. Yes I know a gas powered would make shorter work of it. But the big plus of this is no maintenance and storing of a gas engine with related headaches. If I had as large a drive and lived in Minnesota or something I guess gas would be the way to go. But do think that even in more extreme climates if you don't have too large of a driveway it would be all you need with the benefit that it light enough to use on your decks, walkways and patios. The cord deal can be a little irritating but not really if you just lay out your plan of attack and cord management smartly.

As above, got my price adjustment as my order was from last night and it hadn't shipped yet, so less than 24 hrs...

|googled||Holy cow, saw this original deal like week ago, wanted the 1800 blower, didn't have a redcard so shipping killed the deal, went to store and apply for card, waited, got card yesterday, ordered last night at 131 price w free shipping, etc, checked just now to see price drop, called target asap and got price adjustment, even though it shows OSS, my order hadn't shipped yet, so final is like 93.xx after discount and free shipping!! Way to go target! And me! Woot! Great deal!|

Don't need to go through that hassle. Just call Target.com customer service (1-800-591-3869), give them the old order number and request for price adjustment. I just called, and it went through smoothly.

Almost bit until I realized these are electric plug-in units. Maybe if you live somewhere with light snow and only a small nearby walkway to clear it would be OK. However where I live I cannot imagine running an extension cord all the way down to my driveway and then have to deal with cord management in subzero weather buried knee deep in blowing snow.
Not only that, when I factor in that I would need a special extension cord or two long enough that can hold up and stay flexible in extreme weather, my overall cost of ownership increases by $100 or more. Oh well, I guess that is why they are on clearance. They are a niche item. Perfect fit for some, completely useless for others.
