I found one on Amazon but 2 reviews said the cables made a popping noise.
I forgot about monoprice actually. Doesn't look too shabby - http://www.monoprice.c
Hhmm didn't actually think of that Right now I've got a HDMI -> DVI-D converter so I can use it but would like to get my other monitor up and running as well so I don't have to use the small laptop monitor as the dual display.

When I ordered mine back in November, their web site made it very clear that no displayport cables were included. I ordered monoprice's high quality mini-displayport to displayport cables for about $4, (they arrived well before the monitor) Monoprice also sell regular displayport cables, all very high quality.
(There's a very good reason this monitor doesn't have HDMI. The HDMI output on most video cards is limited to 1080 vertical resolution. Since this monitor has a vertical resolution of 1200, it would be a waste to use HDMI. Even so, hooking up HDMI to this monitor is as simply as buying a $3 DVI to HDMI adapter. Unlike the Displayport conversion, DVI to HDMI is a straight digital adaption, no conversion, no quality loss. Still, because of the limits of most video cards, it still wouldn't run this monitor at its full resolution.)
Make sure you're ordering the correct cables. Many newer video cards have mini-displayport instead of the full sized displayport. There's no difference in quality, it's just a more compact version of the same connector.

Assuming you know whether or not you need regular DP and not Mini DP...

WTF - received it and NO display port cable. That's wonderful as they don't have HDMI input!
Anyone know where I can get a Display Port cable to Display Port (both male) for cheap? I can't find one at all even on Amazon. They're all DVI-D to Display Port or HDMI to DIsplay port.
Hoping to use my HDMI port for another monitor that has HDMI input.

got two delivered tues. 1 with a single bad pixel.
Took me a couple of phone calls, but in the end they are sending a replacement. now the shipment is "in proiduction" (delayed 2 -3 weeks as the order page shows). These $299 deals have got to be working well with lower margin but high volume. Now my only issue is, should I have gotten a 3rd?!

the catleaps also are hitting 100hz refresh rate which is amazing for gaming.

and these have dropped to $375 now. kinda annoyed that i payed $414 but the seller agreed to refund me $14.
there is also a model that is quite a bit more expensive available now but it has an HDMI port (which also might mean that is has a built in scaler).

Thanks, sounds very interesting. Apparantly, you can have it in $350's as there are several ebay sellers
If I buy here, how much will customs charge for this ?

I for one love testing out different brands and technologies, after some extensive reading about these monitors on the other forums, I am sold! Yeah, catleap is a silly name but monitors with similar specs are twice as much.

As far as it being glossy....For me something like this would be for fun! The Pop and Awe would be welcome. I would use my 2005fpw for anything else that I would need a matte finished monitor for.
Thanks for the link! If this were a major name brand....folks would be going crazy trying to buy one....
