|HoL Lee Cows||
I've been paying this price for almost a year now. I think this pricing is standard. After all my contract ended and promos expired, my bill was 79 for cable and internet (blast 30Mbps).
edit. just realized this post was brought back from the dead....

My Comcast "rolls off" June 18th. I tried the online chat and CSR said that she couldn't do anything for me until my agreement expired! I told her that I will shop around as I want to have a price on my terms, in place before expiration. I negotiated 2 years ago with no contract, and told her that I will cancel once I had a deal in place. She did not offer anything to keep me on. Verizon FIOS is having some decent bundles currently. Check out this link for best Verizon Fios deals. http://www.defefx.com/fios-deals/ I had Verizon Fios before but dropped them. I wonder if going back will designated me as a "new customer" with Fios, which are in the terms.

Since DSL is dook, I kept internet for $60 a month and bought my own CM, which they charge you at least $7/month for - and I paid $20 for it on eBay. The whole renting equipment thing is pretty much the epitome of an nonslick deal.

If you have to resort to threatening violence, you are a horrible negotiator.

CC in NW Lakewood, CO has really blown lately. Frequent drops, has been working on the issue for months, some improvement over January time frame, but still not reliable. Area supervisor is sick of me calling & the linemen can't seem to figure it out.
Unfortunately to switch to CL, I need them to run a line to the house as those were cut down years ago, so there is some extra charges there!
Still debating if worth it to switch to 1/2 the speed for 1/2 the price and a lot of up-front costs?!? (still hate Quest, no matter what the current name is too)

I got the digital preferred with the performance internet for the $79.99, not a great deal, but a lot less than I was paying.
