Also in raid0 if one dies all data are lost
If you have plenty sata III ports, a better approach would to get 4 of these ssd and do raid5 or raid10, then you get both high speed as well as data backup.

|MrMasterQ||Too bad they raised the price to $209 AR. FW has 6% cashback and TigerDirect has a Exclusive $20 Discount...Ends Tuesday from the ("Simply click the link above, and we'll discount $20 off the product total of any order over $200 placed by Tuesday, April 17th. But don't forward or share this link. Once used, it cannot be used again. This is a private link intended for you only.")|

So the price is now showing $229 for me, but I just got an email from tiger direct that takes $20 off a $200 purchase. That brings it down to $209. The $20 rebate is still valid, meaning that your final total is $189. Even slicker than before!
Here's that link:

Buy a few ssd now and salvage your old computer, there is no need to upgrade PC every two to three years anymore, that's a wintel's ponzi scam. A single ssd is way cheaper than a complete new system no matter how "budgetary" it is.

All this deals on OCZ's but I always hesitate to purchase them from all the bad reviews, I rather spend $30.00 to $40.00 more on Intel, Mushkin, or Corsair,
Right now I have installed the Crucial M4 64gb from Staples on a Dell Latitude E6400 and I couldn't believe how easy and fast it was , not one problem I mean absolutely none, WEI went from 4.3 to 7.8.
Same goes for the Intel I installed on my Thinkpad E420,
and thats it, no problems from sleep or hibernating

|Moshe1010||OCZ, crappiest SSD I ever had. This is why they are going so cheap, and first one to "break" the market price. Get a real SSD, such as Crucial or Samsung|

|harpwned||could someone please shed some light as to why so many SSD'S were on sale lately? i understand that HDD's have gone up in price due to some troubles in production from their sources....but is there a specific reason why there has been 8+ SSD deals this past week?|
