Wondering also. It's kinda crappy I have had a Live account since 2009 and tried for like an hour to reset my password today and although the site acted like I successfully changed it, the password wouldn't work. So finally I ended up just registering with the same email address, the very one the site was acting as if it were a pre-existing account with the password resets. Sure enough I was able to do that. Stupid Microsoft site! $50 for 107GB is cheaper than Google's storage ($4.99/month for 100GB).
Wonder if competition with all these 'cloud' storage services will drive prices down.

I apparently signed up for a Windows Live account on 4/20/12, don't know why, but never downloaded SkyDrive and it gave me the option to upgrade to 25GB as soon as I signed in.
So if you don't think you were an early adopter, MAYBE YOU WERE, I never knew I was
(I didn't have a hotmail or msn e-mail, just an @yahoo e-mail)
Thanks OP and repped!

I think the scam to store your data is on, no matter who's service you use, after they have you for a year or two then they can up the price or change the plan basically holding your data hostage for your wallet. I mean really who wants to take the time to dl 25 gb of data and reload it up again somewhere else?

Now google is changing their plans to monthly and the pricing is almost doubling, they're such evil SOBs but I guess I'll keep the 80GB for $20/year as long as you don't miss a payment they say you can keep it.
