But you'll find it interesting that California "has contributed on average well over 3.65 billion dollars per year for the last twenty years into the federal treasury than it has received in Federal services in return."

The biggest slickdeals "states" are also the highest taxed/government waste states, so the citizens are looking to save money wherever they can. Slickdeals is doing a great public service.

Shipping kills the slickdeal in Hawaii
I am from Hawaii, and for us shipping kills the deal. Most of the slick deals with free shipping are restricted to the contiguous states.... I too have stopped checking SD these days.

fyi FIRST: I listed three states though, one of them wyoming. I don't feel that far off declaring that the 2000 census figure of 493k is "not much over 250k." SECOND: Please keep in mind that I am quoting "250k" as the threshold that SD chose for color-coding their map, it was not meant to be a statement by me as an approximation of population. Again, 250k was a number that SD came up with, not me.
THIRD: Even though Idaho's pop is 1.5m, I hope you will at least agree that SD implication that if "only" 240,000 of them are SD members means that it would be one of the least likely states you would find a SDer, that is pretty ridiculous. THAT was the point I was making. In a way I was standing up for these lower pop states, not putting them down.
