No elgible for rebate - can combine with urlhasbeenblocked.com
Hi. Thanks for the tip. Its a great deal even if you can't get the rebate. I called OOMA and I instant messaged them, both reps told me that I can't combine these two deals. I was clear to let them know that the coupon was a store coupon and was not a part of the OOMA rebate, but the answer was the same. You cannot get the rebate with the 20% coupon from OfficeMax. Bummer! Good news is that its still a great deal and OfficeMax is giving the $20 instant rebate so instead of 20% off 199.99 its 20% off 179.99. I combined this deal with an online rebate site (which this website won't let me post the name - starts with "e" ends with "bates") and will be getting an additional 3% from them

Status now says "Backordered." Bah!
I took the rebate verbiage to mean, If your out the door price is less than $199.99 - $40 (excluding tax), then the rebate does not apply to you...
I guess it doesn't hurt to send in the rebate anyway. Then we'll see for sure.

To me, it's a better option than those stupid Visa gift cards that you can't use directly at the pump and/or have to keep track of the remaining balance.

Here is the exact verbiage on the rebate:

Thanx OP, I think the Rebate will fly, the real question is how much will it be for. Either way I will be happy to get rid of my Vonage. I was paying $36 a month, with this I will be saving $30. Plus if I need to add calling to Mexico like Vonage gave me it's only a matter of adding a 9.99 package and I will still be saving about $20 a month.
If this works as well as advertised I will be slowly moving a bunch of people over to Ooma from Vonage over the next few months!
Rep'd and TU!

TU & reps to OP been on the fence about dropping my $80/month unlimited AT&T service for Ooma or cable but I know for a fact that every January, my cable bill goes up by a % - year after year after year. Now just hoping I have enough bandwidth that I don't get that delay in the line like with Skype calls! (Anyone know the minimum we should have on our broadband connection to make this work properly?)

Does anybody know if you upgrade to the Ooma Telo from the Hub if you can keep the same grandfathered plan of $0 or do they force you to start paying the taxes and fees?

|kaker33||If anyone was wondering how well the Ooma works it is fantastic. We bought ours two months ago and absolutely love it. We would never have any telephone phone service besides this and I would say if you don't have it by now buy it.|

do they give $40 rebate as a gift card or some other way?

this is the correct one: http://www.ooma.com/rebate/ooma-july-rebate.pdf
but it's not valid because Office Max's price is too low.
