yeah, it's unfortunate that all of the full frames have been excluded from their recent rounds of direct to market discounts. i have been starting to track the used market a little more and it's really all over the place. now that may just be the nature of the used camera marketplace. it may even be the time of year - someone with more money than they know what to do with going on a trip, etc...
i've heard mutterings about this lower priced full frame but don't know enough to say more than that. i will say that as i've been going through the joys and growing pains of a potentially pricey hobby, i've even taken a few late night moments to read away on the - gasp - nikon d800 and 4/3 scene and generally always come, comfortably back to canon.
i imagine that everyone involved in this discussion - of a deal that's already come and gone! - have found themselves here at one point or another.
