Can anyone fill me in on how to make an EVO 4G from Sprint work on Virgin?
Is it possible?
I want to give my daughter my old phone but dont want to sign a contract. I'd like to be able to add minuets or pay as I go....
Thanks for any info you can provide!

|caicom98||I currently have LG Optimus V, was anyone able to get kickback credit when porting over their old phone number by referring yourself while upgrading to the Evo?? Is this even possible?|

|zyxwvuuu||Sprint is currently doing work to a lot of towers too, I hear this is why service may be bad sometimes. I get some missed calls on VM, not many, this phone is great rooted.|

|h1qual1ty||Virgin Mobile does not suck. It's the same network as Sprint. OK, maybe it sucks compared to Verizon but I think it may be second best.|

|mrstangblb||After doing some research, I think I'm headed to Radio Shack for the Optimus Elite. It's running a 1GHz processor (only 512MB of RAM, though) and gets pretty decent reviews. They have it for only $129.99, so I may take the cheaper risk for about half the price. I can always take it back if it's a piece of trash, but compared to the Optimus V I may feel like I've got a racehorse.|

I am not impressed with any VM speeds in our area, but they are much better than T-Mobile. I bought one of the Galaxy S2s at Walmart last week, and coverage is a lot better at my home and my church where I work with my little Optimus V on Virgin Mobile. The Galaxy is going back. I'm tired of the lack of storage on the V, so I may give the Evo a try.
Doesn't Virgin Mobile give your money back if this Evo is not what you want it to be? How tough are they on returns?

This HTC Navigation Kit would work for $7.99, wouldn't it?:

mine averaged similar speeds and sometimes (like 3AM) it would get 2Mbps or higher but also it would sometimes get as low as 60kbps during the day.
The Optimus V was good but Virgin 3G (in my area) data speeds sucked big time.
