|Magowin||Anyone know if this would be ok as a cache drive? Currently I have a 64gb Crucial C300 I'm using full size as a cache drive on my z68 board but was planning on using half of this for cache and other half for games I use the most and moving the C300 to my laptop as a boot drive.|

"Hey hon, when I turned on my computer today, it said Missing BOOTMGR or something"
I told her to go into the bios and see what drives are shown. Well it turns out the Mushkin Chronos 120gb DIED. So I was up all of last night reinstalling EVERYTHING onto a Agility 3 120gb. God damn thing better not die neither since they both use Sandforce controller! And if anymore does, I'm gonna be like you in avoiding them.

OOS with newegg, but neweggbusiness seems to let me at least get to the payment info. Hmm. also the code for 10% no longer works!
I have tried editing a wiki info before (also regarding expired codes) - it let me, but it went back to pre editing after a few hours (with code still expired). I thought it's for everybody to be able to edit?

|DirtBag||Can't believe how cheap SSDs are getting. Paid more than this for a 60GB Patriot Pyro less than 5 months ago...|

|djklmnop||Got one using neweggbusiness' 10% off. Unfortunately that only helped to defer CA tax|

Those high numbers (1.8W, 2.0W, 6W) are maximum power consumption specs.
The "Avg. active power consumption for the Samsung 830 is 0.15W" is during a benchmark called MobileMark.
Most of the time during this test, the SSD is actually idling.
Most SSDs have low idle power consumption (with some exceptions), that's a big thing you should be interested in if you're looking for a laptop SSD.
