Followed the instructions but did not get the $10.
Starbucks Customer Service did give me the $10 credit.
But also gave me a lecture that I did not follow the instructions and only loaded the card, not set autoreload.
I used the iphone app; it set the autoreload option; and $25 was loaded to my account. Don't see why this was not treated as an autoreload

|Oya||I called early September and they told me that it only kicked on on the second reload-and to call on the 15th. Finally got around to calling and the very nice CS guy gave me the credit. Nothing in the deal that said you'd wait almost 2 MONTHS. Bad form Starbucks!|

Second time, she couldn't be nicer...

The inconsistency between the different CSR is amazing. I like Starbucks less now, and for $10, compare to my 1 cup a day habit, they need to either state it clearly, have a uniformed message or just DO THE RIGHT THING!

This is in addition to when I called and had the CSR manually add $10 credit to my account a few weeks ago. So I ended up receiving $20 total for my $25 autoload. Since I'm an ethical guy, I'd call in to tell them of their errors but I think the first rule of Slickdeals is not to call.

I finally got through to CS to get the $5 for $20 reload promo and was asked where I heard about this offer. When I asked if I could also get the $10 for $25 auto-reload promo she said no, both because it expired 8/24 and because you only get 1 promo per Visa card.
When I told her that I thought you had to sign up by 8/24 but had till 9/24 to actually do the auto-reload, she said no, both were 8/24, which contradicted Stabucks' promo terms.
As for the 1 promo per Visa card, again, nowhere does it say this. What it DOES say is 1 of EACH promo per Visa card, not one of ANY promo.
I did sign up for the auto-reload promo by 8/24, but I'm guessing that if I do an auto-reload of $25 by 9/24, I won't automatically get the $10, but if I call in and state all the above, they'll manually add the $10. Which is a hassle but hey it's free burnt coffee.
Btw, has ANYONE gotten either of these promos automatically, w/o having to call CS?

Well after reading through this thread I figured it'd be worth it to give them a couple calls and see what I could fish up.
First call I got the $10, not really a hassle, as posted previously I stated I recieved an email, and then after a few minutes hold they put the credit on.
I kept reading the thread and decided to try for the $5, that was a no go. I pushed back a little though and specified the terms (basically read the fine print to the poor rep) and she gave a 'free drink coupon' that they're going to mail. I figured depending on the drink that could actually be worth more than $5 so I took it.
All in all a pretty easy transaction and I'm glad I did the reload. I don't really understand why they're pushing back on some of the callers in this thread, seems like a promo at starbucks wouldn't really cost the company hardly anything, what do these coffees cost to make, $0.08? Anyway, good thread, slick deal.

**PS maybe it's a VISA signature deal so only those with VISA signature got credited automatically. Just thinking.
