|ersatz||Should I get this drive or stick with the Plextor m5 since they are the same price after taxes? Have about 90gb of data to store on the ssd so which will give better performance?|

Their RAM is equally shitty. It's dangerously over-volted (1.65v as opposed the to spec 1.5v for LGA1155 and 1156) and it actually needs the heatsinks it comes with, because it gets far too hot as well.
Really. Anyone who recommends OCZ products should probably not ever reproduce, lest we need more chlorine in the gene pool.

I have ~120 OCZ Vertex 2s, 3s and 4s in my lab machines. Haven't yet had one fail *knock on wood*. I also bought two Intel 320s - one died within the first two weeks, the other is still chugging along fine.
Also, re: OCZ was unknown before SSDs... they'd been making high-performance RAM for quite a while. Now that they've exited the business and focusing on SSDs, it's kind of a pain RMA'ing any bad RAM, they ask for an invoice and give you a refund for that amount, but at least they're still honoring their lifetime warranty.

No, OCZ is a shit company. Their drives fail at rates twice and three times higher than any other company, their PSUs are notoriously shitty, being prone to failing and ruining anything that's drawing power in your system. They've got a record for not delivering on rebates (this appears to have changed, but their past actions speak volumes) and having awful customer support.
If you really want to white knight for this company, go do it somewhere else; recommending people spend money on a drive that will fail in 6 months is malicious at best.

OCZ quality is fine, reviews out there give it high ratings - whatever you have against the company is on you, deal with whatever internal problems you have with yourself but let consumers enjoy the deal
