|llang31ll||Did anyone get an unexpired one that actually was accurate??? or is it a worthless product overall?|

|atulinlondon||Got mine today. They expired 1/2012. Total BS that they would sell already expired test strips even though they were heavily discounted. I am going to try to get my money back|

My test strips arrived today. 4 of 5 I purchased EXPIRED in May 2012. Expiration date in engraved into the bottom of the plastic container.
I'll be returning these 4 tomorrow.
FYI.....I called Toys R Us and they quickly refunded my entire purchase price.

Just bought the last online chlorine available for shipping. It reduced my order from 10 to 1.
The following item: HTH Pace AG 1 in Tablets 5 Lb has limited inventory. We've adjusted the quantity below to reflect the number we have available.

|zroger73||These HTH test strips are woefully inaccurate and inconsistent. Go to your local Hot Spring spa dealer and get some "Hot Spring" brand if you're going to use test strips -- at least they are more consistent and accurate than HTH or other brands. As another poster mentioned, a "drop-based" kit is much better than any strip.|

In my mind all test strips are worthless. I'll sell you a 8x10 piece of paper for a nickle....as this is about all these strips are worth. The paper it's printed on. I know you can blindly feel your way thru maintaining a pool and keep it somewhat clean, but the money and time spent on maintaining the pool just makes it not worth it. This year I spent $210 dollars total on all chemicals used in our 25,000 gallon pool, and maybe spent 5 minutes a day working on keeping it clean. The season went from early April....until current date.
You can blindly dump chemicals into your pool using the test strips as your guide dog, or you can get yourself a good drop based test kit....spend a few minutes learning what does what in your pool......and take control of your own pool.
