|fuser-invent||I received this and it works great. I can't really recognize any loss of audio quality. I think some of the people complaining in the reviews about "really quiet sound" probably weren't using powered speakers or something. I'd definitely recommend one if these if you are in the market. I'm also going to buy the Belkin one that is on sale on newegg right now and try that out at home.|

|fuser-invent||Well I'm going for the Logitech one and giving it a shot but the wait time is now 1-2 months. That's just crazy. I'll probably totally forget I ordered one and then get a surprise in the mail.|

I own two of these devices and can speak to the ease of use. I purchased one for my home theater setup so that I can control the audio remotely from my android phone and tablet. My dad was impressed with it so i picked one up for him for father's day.
Setup is very straight forward. Connecting to the device very simple as well. I have it in my a/v cabinet and reception is perfectly fine. I would estimate that the signal holds strong to approx. 30ft. I haven't tried the modification simply b/c i haven't found the need for it yet.
As far as the price goes, I was able to pick both of mine up for $30 (+FS w/ Amazon Prime) so i wouldn't necessarily call this deal 'slick'.
If you're looking for a simple wireless audio control solution, this is it.

Is the metal plate a heat sink?

|sdrocks2||nice deal if you're in the market for one, $10 off the mspr isn't enough for me|

Its $75 though, best solution I found. I have it plugged into the Aux jack, so I can't speak to the FM transmitting option.
Belkin makes something similar, but it did not look as good to me.

I ended up buying both, I bought the Belkin one that will come on Wednesday, and the other one will take 2-3 weeks to get here. That will give me enough time to see if I like the Belkin, from the reviews and pictures YOU HAVE TO REMOVE a small metal plate in it to increase range.
I think I will cancel my order for the Logitech, it might not seem like a big deal but having about 15+ bluetooth devices in my tenrue at Verizon and just life in general, reconnecting a bluetooth should not even be something you have to do.

|mupppp||In for 1! Even though it ships from amazon in 2-3 weeks, I'll take it! Perfect for what I need. I am going to hook it up to this AMP http://www.amazon.com/LP-2020A-Le...ef=lh_ni_t which will be hooked up to an in-ceiling speaker in my bathroom to provide wireless sound from my iphone while I shower!|
