I actually recently got an awesome deal on a printer the listed price was 149 but it had a 30 dollar coupon built into it (some weird thing staples had ) so when i would order it its price would be 119 after coupon. Next I was able to add a 25 off 75 coupon to it. Making it a nice deal . But then heres the kicker i think officedepot (or officemax dont really remember) had the same printer on sale for 89.99.
heres how it ends up without pricematch 149-30-25 = 95
Heres how I thought the pricematch would go 89.99 - 25 =65
Heres what really happened (the CS i talked to was new i guess) 89.99 -39 -25= 40
For some reason the CS forgot to take off the original $30 coupon so it came out dirt cheap. Thank you slickdeals!

I don't see how this can work.
If you use the coupon first, it's down to $50. So, they only have to lower it $20 to get to Amazon's $30 price. $75 - 25 - 20 = $30
If they do the price adjustment first, you need to add $45 of goods to be able to use the coupon.

Most of the ppl here on SD have used a $25 off $75 coupon atleast once which they hasn't received from staples.. may be bought on ebay or some other site is also illegal..
So its upto how you want to play it.

I absolutely love Staples and spend a lot of money there even though they are 8 times further away from my house than office depot and office max.
EDIT: Just finished ordering then chatting with rep. She gave me full credit and when I mentioned coupon she said "no problem, that can remain." I also ordered water too as we can always use that and as a filler it fit nearly perfectly.

|syeb||I am normally against scams and tricks such as this but if Staples could charge $70 for a 32GB Sd card they have it coming to them. I'm sure they suckered some non-tech savvy customers into paying that price.|
