First of all, I've never tried the BB slim so I can't make the comparison.
The LE "Tailored Fit" should be the standard fit for most American men. It's a huge upgrade from the tent/parachute that most men wear. For an average sized guy it'll probably be sufficiently slim without being too tight.
That being said, no one will confuse this for a bespoke or even a made-to-measure shirt. Especially on a slimmer guy (like myself).
My biggest issue with the LE Tailored Fit is that its almost like they took the arms/sleeves a classic fit shirt and stuck them on a slimmer body. If you have bigger arms or a more muscular body but still have a slimmer waistline, this would be a perfect fit as-is. I have skinnier arms, though. To give it a true tailored look I'll probably have to get 2-3" of circumference removed from the upper arms and about an 1-2" below the elbow.
The armholes could also stand to be a little higher.
To be honest, LE could have taken some cues from their Canvas line in terms of fit but I suspect they were trying to keep it a little more mainstream.
But, at these prices, I ordered 5 more tailored fit shirts. Came to like $18/piece.
I could spend $30 to get them tailored and still have a better fitting shirt than just about anything I could buy for under $50.
Even without additional tailoring these will look great under a sweater or sports coat/blazer (or without to be honest). The fabrics look really good and the variety is nice.

Can anyone let me know what I am doing wrong? Thanks.
