|Jaeger||I purchased a pair previously and they were surprisingly nice. Good fabric, not scratchy or cheap feeling. Yes, pleats and cuffs so not for the young crowd.|

Wool normally isn't machine washable, I usually hand wash it doesn't take too long for a few pants.

These are wool and as such we recommend dry-cleaning.
Hope this helps!

Are these washable or dry clean only?

So, these sound great, but we're going to pass.

|nadeemp8||Even with cheaper wool pants, hanging them properly overnight will yield wrinkle free pants the next day. I have quite a few pants I cycle through which means I usually won't wear the same pair of pants more than once per week, and during the time they aren't worn they are hanging up upside down at full length so that the weight of the pant itself removes the wrinkles. I have wrinkle free wool pants to wear every day that I never have to touch an iron to in between dry cleanings!|

I cant wear a trouser that is not resilient enough to dispel its wrinkles if folded and hung correctly....like the brands I listed above
It is my assumption that these trousers mentioned in this thread will not have that capability
But....that should not be an expectation considering their price

like any/most latest fashion for both male/female, it is not for everyone.
low"er" rise, flat front pants might/suppose to serve the purpose of slimming effect, i also see them to "exaggerate" ones flaws such as the belly on many people. such is also true in the now popular "slim shirts". you simply see a "life saver: effect on many people who "think" they look "cut" while wearing the shirts.
now do not get me started on gals wearing those "jeggings" thinking they look like VS models..

Pleats and cuffs both serve a purpose and some people will always wear them for that reason. Personally, I don't wear, or like, pleats either, but cuffs keep me from looking too leggy. If you're tall, or just have long legs, then cuffs break the line from your waist to your shoes, which makes your legs look shorter and your torso longer. Nothing wrong with that.
Pleats prevent your pant leg from riding up when you sit, which is an even bigger problem for bigger people. Just because the current style is flat front, non-cuffed pants, it doesn't mean that you're a bad dresser if you wear anything else. This is especially true for cuffs, because many people who pride themselves in being fashionable prefer cuffs, because some people just like them better then non-cuffed pants.

actually ..in my experience
good quality wool will usually be wrinkle free if they are folded correctly...and perhaps even more importantly hung straight overnight
no wrinkles in my pants the the next time I need to wear them
this is for Hart Schafter and Marx...Hickey Freeman and Ralph Lauren wool slacks
