|mrsean||For anybody ordering from CTIStore please note that their shipping is kind of slow - expect a 1 day delay before it goes out. Also, they require a signature at delivery which is ridiculous for a hard drive. I've had $800+ items on my doorstep waiting for me when I got home without issue.|

WD Reds have TLER, which allows then to cooperate with hardware raid controllers.
They have 4 stars at newegg but if you actually read the reviews they are pretty scary. Lots of reports of multiple failures. To be fair I always thought neweggs packaging was a bit lacking when it comes to hard drives.

|kaosstar||I just bought a seagate 3tb for $125 at Newegg a couple weeks ago. While I greatly prefer WD, and this has a longer warranty, it definitely doesn't seem to be worth the ~50% greater cost.|

|EnzoFX||Red is oriented at NAS or server environments and has longer warranty! They are slow speed IIRC, so think of them like Greens, but better for said case uses. That said, if it's not for those uses, then most people probably wouldn't notice the difference.|
