Although it'd be dishonest, I wonder what would happen if someone was got and redeem their 20% off coupon after 10 qualifying purchases and return one or more of those past 10 purchases. Would the qualifying purchase tracker show negative/ zero or near 10 again? I'm sure such activity would be flagged and eventually banned.

When I finally got through to customer service at the number they gave me yesterday (1-866-244-5687) this morning, she agreed with me and concluded that the district manager was confused about the "blackout". She added 1 qualifying purchase to my card, which will leave me 1 purchase short of qualifying for a single 20% discount (within a 60 day window excluding 20% discount days) from now until the end of January. That way I can spend $20 and be qualified for a 20% discount the next day in case a great deal shows up in an ad between now and the next 20% discount weekend. My 2 previously earned discounts have pretty much just gone toward other minimally qualifying purchases.
The last time they had a big ticket item of interest (refurbished Vizio XVT553SV priced at $700 before discount), I arrived about 15 minutes after the start of a Buzz Club member only 20% discount Saturday to see 2 of the last 3 being loaded onto a pickup in front of the store. The display unit was sold over the phone while I waited in a line at the furniture counter. Naturally this all happened shortly after I used my last personal 20% discount just before it reached the end of its 60 day life. Anyone with an active 20% personal discount could have bought one for $560+tax on the preceding Sunday.

|WarEagle10||Lots of great deals to be had at my store. Got "Rookie of the Year" on DVD for cheap, as well as some super cheap cleaning goods. Be careful with the food though, I saw a few items that were expired, one of which dating back to August!|

ROFL $30 on gas for a shopping trip? It's 20% off not $20, unless a purchase was $100. There are many made in USA products sold at Big Lots for those that may or not care. However price is usually first on the list for many on SD then quality. Serta mattresses are made in the USA. Then there are consumables, toiletry, paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc.
TLDR: You fail.
