I hope this didn't happen to anyone else because now I have to deal with an annoying issue with my order.
I placed my order for this 8-piece set, was charged $14.38. A few days later I got an e-mail saying my order was ready for pick-up so I went and picked it up. When they handed me my bag, it contained a pretty big box but I signed for it and was on my way. I got home and saw it had 14 pieces in it including a Pyrex spatula. I didn't remember this post saying anything about that and was pretty sure it wasn't for a 14-piece set. Anyway, I checked my bank account and noticed they debited me $31.04!
I went back in my original order e-mail and it clearly states $14.38. I opened up the "order ready for pick-up" e-mail and it says, Items were out of stock: 8-piece Pyrex storage set. and then Substituted items: 14-piece Pyrex storage set and charged me the $29.69 plus tax!
First of all, HOW is a store able to charge me for something that I did not order, nor authorize on my debit card, just because the item I originally ordered was out of stock? And a more expensive item at that! I didn't get any phone calls or e-mails about the item that I placed an order for being out of stock. Instead, they took it upon themselves to adjust my order for a different item and then BILL me for it.
I called customer service and they brought up my order and swear to me I was only charged $14.38 when I have the original order e-mail for $14.38, the pick-up confirmation e-mail for $31.04 and a $31.04 entry on my debit card transactions! Now I have to fax my documents over to their online ordering department and hopefully get this straigntened out.

I can attest to how much these lids suck as well, and it's got nothing to do with handling or care. Bought this exact set from Kohl's and the problem is the material itself. Has almost no flex so of course it doesn't seal. In fact they were so loose that one or two could be SPUN while "sealed" to the top rim of the bowl.
Needless to say they went back.
The Blue lidded pyrex are better than these but are STILL not truly air tight, and unless a lid is 100% leak proof then your food is going bad faster than it needs to.
Wait until the next major sale at http://www.shopworldki

|Mondena||So the plastic lids don't seem to have longevity and they are not water tight. Does anyone know if they have BPA?|

Bought a set yesterday. For those trying to make up your minds, these are GREAT as mixing bowls, you can stack them with the lids on and not mash contents, and you can transport semi-solids like potato salad and jello in them.
But DO NOT put liquids in them! The lids stick on, but they DO NOT SEAL. First thing I did when I got home was put some water in one and swirl it/shake it. It is NOWHERE near an airtight seal and will not keep liquids in if the container turns on it's side.
My wife likes them as mixing bowls, so we think they are still a good deal.
I'm thinking about gluing a gasket or something in the lid for a more solid-sealing fit.

|CrazyCouponGirl||Thanks OP... in for one set for $12.14 after initial promo code and ship to store. I wonder if they will let me use the $1.00 manufacturer coupon with pickup as a post coupon?|
