Your local printer probably pays pennies per pouch buying laminate in bulk.
Let me put it this way. You can buy what, a 50 pound bag of rice for like $10 at a wholesale store, right? But if you go to a Chinese restaurant, they may charge like $2 for a small bowl of rice. So it'd be like seeing a deal on rice, $1 for a cup of rice, and saying "I work at a Chinese restaurant, we charge $2 for a small bowl. This is an AMAZING deal! "

|iveo83||I work at a local printer and we charge $5 for each 8.5x11 laminated so this is a pretty amazing deal!|

I managed to get in for one while the dead was still live. Thanks OP!
Sadly, this is now totally dead. The laminator is now $26.99 from Amazon, and it no longer shows the special offer for the free laminating pouches. Before, the laminator's produt page explicitly said that you could get the free pouches.

|PinkGlass||Was able to pick one up before it went dead. My phone's battery went dead though, so now I'm back to say thanks!|

Finally pulled the trigger. thanks op.
On the fence for a while as I need a laminator for kid's awards/certificates, but have no other use of it. The pouches will cost more than the machine itself over time. The free 100 pouches made it easy to decide, although I missed the $3 coupon though.
