|Rutzy||i ordered 4 flavors (2 discount bags) back in march. the rest were eh. but the death by jerky was easily the best (and hottest). it was NOT tough like everybody says. if you like heat, death by jerky has been great in my experience.|

As far as flavor, I really enjoy the stuff, not really into bbq or Hawaiian teriyaki ( both are a little too sweet for my taste ) but really like the teriyaki , black pepper, sweet and spice and death by jerky.
I am really curious what jerky everyone else says is better because I would like to try that myself, this is a much better deal than what they sell in stores around here ( 6-10 dollars for a 2-4 oz bag ) .

|eidrunner247||I ordered 3lbs a couple months ago. Wasn't impressed at all. Too salty, tough. Not recommended.|

It's not 40% off like they are advertising. It's 5% off of the 35% discounted price.
$22*.65 *.95 = 13.58
I haven't sent in an inquiry yet about the false advertising. (its only 30 cents per bag)

I received mine from the 30% thread. The meat quality is okay, a bit tougher than store bought, but I'm okay with that - it's jerky. However, the soy sauce flavor predominates in all varieties, so I will not be reordering at 40% off.
Also, as a point of reference, hot& spicy is not (except for soy), habanero has a little heat, and "death by jerky" is about "thai hot"

|mikecrazy||excellent jerky and it's cheap enough that it's worth giving it a shot rather than reading a review|

|MrHalliday||I noticed they had a 50% sale for a few days last November.|

If someone would PM me a code, I would certainly try this jerky and compare it to Big J's, although - I have to say I have been a customer of theirs for about 3 years, and the factory is less than 10 mins from my house (I still do the online ordering with them, they are not really set up for walk-in purchases from what I asked 3 years ago). Could be different now, but I dont think so.
Anyways, I would certainly place a $40-$60 order if I could get a discount code, and I would be glad to offer a comparo after purchase.
I really want to try the Hawaiian style and Habenaro

|CallMeTraitor||Read reviews from other sites and old slickdeals threads before buying... This jerky is pretty shitty.|
|10-12-2012 09:09 PM|
Yeah, same here
i.e, I can give it a shot if a code is available...
but I am not a current customer of DGJ,
having spent my bux on the "other" jerky offer...

Considering "Damn Good Jerky" isn't a household name, a link to the site might be a good idea. I thought "damn good jerky" was your own personal description/interjection, and had no idea where this deal was applicable, and for what brand.
It should be safe to share the coupon code if it doesn't have a jumbling of numbers and/or letters....Or if it looks to be a one time use, you can always share after using it, possibly?
Thanks for the heads up, though, OP!
