I miss the good old days when Amazon had weekly 99c rentals on a handful of select decent recent titles. Now their specials are all $1.99. The 99c titles look like the same old list from early this year. I only have patience to look through a few pages because after a while you hit page after page of Frontline and non-movie stuff.
Does anyone know why Amazon stopped doing the 99c instant video specials during the week? I bet they'd say "inflation" (you know the 100% inflation you see on movie rentals at places like Redbox... not). I'd guess "greed".
This is just a $2 credit and not an up to $2 off any single movie rental, right?

For anyone who used this for a $1.99 rental don't let your last cent go to waste as you can rent or even better purchase "Big Buck Bunny" in HD or SD for only 1 cent. This is a fun little 10 minute CGI animated short, and a great price at a penny.
