looking to get another one for my wife but it seems to be outta stock and says just check back soon.
pretty happy with mine...the battery life could be better but apart from that no complaints, no contract and on straight talk at&t here

The white noise sound from the earpiece/buzz I hear as well but should only be exhibited when it a quiet setting and not on call and putting the phone up to your ear. You should not hear it on any calls (I haven't at least, or it's not noticeable).

Google might be a good "tech" company but they are one of the worst product merchants I have had to deal with. My history with this debacle of a launch:
11/13 Ordered two 16gb Nexus 4s (Both showed in-stock)
11/27 Received the two phones (after a 2 week delay due to no stock)
11/30 Discovered both were defective (one had the buzz/clicking sound in the earpiece, one had a rattle in the phone)
11/30 RMAed both phones (was told replacements were in-stock and would arrive in 3-4 days)
12/13 Called to cancel both orders (was told they have to contact a finance specialist and will get a confirmation in 24-48 hours)
12/17 Called to verify cancellation of both orders (was told that they didn't know why the cancellation wasn't put in, was also told that they would contact a specialist to have the orders cancelled and I will get a confirmation in 24-48 hours)
12/20 Received two emails that the replacement units shipped.
This is like the blind leading the blind. Every touch point with this company has led to false and misleading information. Customer Service is more like a concierge department to attempt to help the consumer "contact" the right people. The CS folks don't seem to be able to actually service customers. Also, the over apologetic "script" that the CSRs work off of gets old very fast.

|husky55||Wow!!! What an interesting scenario!!! I ordered on the 11/27 for 16 GB and got sick of the pending order, no email reply, clerk lied to me on the phone or she was clueless, So I cancelled mine. This left a very poor impression of Google for me, long time google fan.|

this might enrage some people
ordered on Nov 27 like everyone else spam clicking the button. order went through about 2 hours after the noon launch.
on dec 13 was reading this thread about how people were ordering the 16gb version and getting it shipping confirm the next day. so went to playstore and it had the 8gb version "add to cart". so what the hell, ordered it even though it said 7-8 weeks. Got the google reciept immediately and it stated shipping 3-5 days.
So left both orders in the wallet. Just right now, i just check and got shipping confirm for the Dec. 13 order. Nov 27 was still pending, so i went ahead and canceled it,which has was confirmed almost immediately.
so i have a tracking number and should get my phone soon. attached is my wallet "Completed" Screenshot.
