|dadab||I just noticed all the old reviews are gone from costco.com. Now there are only 2 reviews. What's up with that?|

I have a Blendtec, and I have very few problems. Occasionally, I'll keep getting air pockets if I try to make hummus or a milkshake too thick in it, but the Vitamix would not fare much better.

The vitamix with the programable functions and the blendtec.
They both are great blenders, will blend anything you throw at them.
Here comes the Zinger, If you have enough liquid you dont need the masher tool that the vitamix comes with. The blendtec is great about sucking everything down into the blades. Tho sometimes i do wish the blendtec had the smasher. That being said I have to almost always use the smasher on the Vitamix, thats not to say the vitamix is bad, it just doesnt have the same shape of the jar, Vitamix did copy the shape once and got sue'd by blendtec so they returned to their original jar with the smasher. Both blenders are powerful. I think you'd be fine with either or. Both are going fine for 4 years with out any problems.
Thats my PC answer! hope it helps

|Netami||It's an amazing blender, but very loud. Expensive, but it shows in the build quality and the documentation (marketing BS?) included. If you blend a lot, I consider it a worthwhile investment, but even for my brother (who only blends once a month) it's a treat to have stuff made in his blendtec.|

Blendtec Total Blender both Jars 370+tax
Costco.com has the Blendtec Total blender with both the wildside and fourside jar for 369.99 right now. Seems like a pretty good deal for both jars. The roadshow deal that I saw only had the wildside jar for 330. I apologize if this is a repost I do post new deals very often and I did a quick search and did not see anything recently posted about this.
The total for me in AZ was 394.41 including tax shipping was free.
Hope this helps someone out!
