My wife uses the burst only for ATT pay as you go. She does data where she can get wifi. Primarily, she just needed a phone for talk and text, but with this she can carry her contacts and calendar. I would like to see this on ICS, just because.
I just disable data so we don't get those charges, so I cant do OTA updates, without it costing mega dollars.
Has anyone used this download process to upgrade?

I had the same problem - Skype worked, Yahoo Messenger worked etc. but the browser would not connect.
Turned out I'd missed ".com" on one of the APN settings.
...I was sure everything had been input correctly....

|FIREitUP||I just activated my pantech burst on straight talk but for some reason I can't access the internet. It says I have 4g enabled on the top of the phone and I entered the apn information, but I can't get internet. If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it.|

I'd like to report that T-Mobile HSPA+ works on this phone in my area (Baltimore, MD), showing HSPAP:15 in Android's phone status.
Speedtest.net says 8Mbps down 3Mbps up.
Is there a list of frequencies used for 3/4G by the major network providers in different areas? I want to know whether it will still work when I travel around

|gtd2000||That's good - it turned out that my "ICS upgrade" was actually just a firmware upgrade from AT&T...|

|gtd2000||I've just received the upgrade download icon on the phone this morning - anybody have any comments on the ICS upgrade vs. the standard version?|
