But yeah I can't see using pro lights if you are not a pro photographer or videographer. Pro lights are hundreds of $ if not in the $1k+ range... I can't even justify a cheap light kit costing $400-500.

Harbor Freight's comparable 1000-watt Halogen work lights are $40 everyday, around $30 on sale.
These lights from Home Depot go on sale every three months for $20, but without the sale price, you're looking at $80 regular price (not $20).
If you missed out on the deal, don't fret because they'll be $20 again soon, especially during the Holiday season.

|Ashvins||I looked around (searched the net). This is about the regular price for these. Don't know what the bid deal is. Unless I have to get something to top off my 50/100 HD coupon, I'll pass. Haven't specifically looked, but I'd be surprised if places like Harbor Freight don't have something comparable.|
