On my mall's facebook page someone asked if they were doing that again this year. They said no.
Instead the first 100 people get a survival kit. Not the same

I bought the one for the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro, MA. I don't remember if I paid $10 or $20, but it was well worth it. The parking was great because you could come and go and still have parking.
The seating area wasn't a tent, it was what I think was a break room for the mall employees. The refreshments were much better for my mall. In the AM they had donuts, muffins, coffee, etc. Lunch was pizza. They also had things like candy/crackers and soft drinks available all day.
I did use the secure baggage storage and there was no problem with it. I have to say that the staff running it were wonderful.
I hope they are doing it again!

Living Social Black Friday Mall VIP Deal This Year?
Last year Living Social offered a Black Friday VIP package at over 40 of the Simon Malls. The price varied by location, between $10-$20, but you received:
I did this for the Battlefield Mall in Springfield, Missouri ($10). The reserved parking was nice, they blocked off a substantial area right next to one of the primary entrances and had staff there all day. The refreshments were less impressive (packaged crackers, chips, candy) but the unlimited soft drinks were nice as we needed the caffeine
We didn't use the secure storage provided but saw some who did. There was also seating provided in the VIP tent which we did use.
My question is if anyone is aware of whether this deal will be offered again this year and what others' experiences were like last year at different malls if you also got the deal. Thanks!
