Hi just wanted to check if you got the deal or not
I bought the 18-105 + 55-300 bundle deal for 1361.29 (Including CA tax). I want to get the 18-200mm lens too but not sure they will sell it to me for 599, now that my order has already shipped.

By next year, my second child would be born, God willing. I would have moved to a new city, new house, and visited numerous cities, locations and moments worth capturing. I don't care for the 50 bucks I'd save next yr. Besides, a bird in hand is better than two in the bush.

|jayboydog||you guys ought to realize the D7000 is dropping in price. a new model will be released. the cam with 18-105mm will be available for less than $1,000 next year. no need to feel this is your last chance to save three hundred bucks on a nikon D7000.|

|doctom||I called and asked a couple of BBs around the area. Both categorically said that they have been told 'absolutely no price matching in BF'. I too was gonna pre-buy and then request a PM. Take that for what its worth. If you've already pulled the trigger, at least you can return the item.|

|alatsacto||I hear you, they just want to make a sale, so that's why they offered me this option. They have no reason to lie, cuz I'll just return the items if they LIED. It's not like this is FINAL SALE and I'm stuck with the items. If you think the deal is good, then it doesn't hurt to try. Worst case scenario, it doesn't work and I return all items on that Friday. No harm, no foul. Plus if it doesn't work, I'll be sure to THROW everyone under the bus to make sure I get the deal. Hahah.|

Unless you can get Amazon to price match it and you have their Amazon credit card for rewards points, Best Buy is your best option. Here's the best part, you don't need to stand in line. I went in to the store yesterday and purchased the camera for $1299. As an added bonus, I also purchased the Nikon 18-200mm lens for $599 ($250 off) as a combo discount. This lens never goes on sale and retails for $849. Since this is not a doorbuster deal, I will not need to rush in with the crowd to make the purchase. However some time in the afternoon I just need stop by the store to get the price adjustment/price match. This guarantees the price and guarantees you will have the camera in stock. The sales associate actually suggested this for me and he checked with his superiors to confirm this could be done.
So far this has been the best price I have seen for the D7000, with just the body it sells for around $999 on Amazon. So basically you are getting the kit lens (18-105mm) for free, which retails for $399. You should be able to get over $200 for it. Good luck.
