|vinnychase||Looking for a upgrade to my 19" monitor. This may be a good option. I run 3 monitors all different sizes. 19" 21" & a 25" the 19" went out this week. 19" is to small and want just a bit bigger. around 30" would be perfect. Are there any other BF deals on monitors or hdtv's to use as monitors?|

Just bought it from Amazon for $299.99 w/ Free 2nd Prime. Thanks!
I believe Amazon will pay return shipping if you do not like the TV for any reason. They have best return policy in the industry.

Now you can purchase this at your heart's content from whichever retailer doesn't make you have to pay taxes!
Thanks for your findings, koolkaras

|Slimwallet||If 32" 3d TV is waste, Gaming on 23-27" on 3d monitor must be waste too. What an @ss statement.|

That's fair enough. Most people would take the bigger tv but if you have a fixed size requirement it's all academic.

Yep, I never stated that this was THE BEST TV IN THE WORLD. I stated that at its price point, it was the best 32" TV with those specs. I've referenced many TVs. All of them 32", for a reason. The 32" 1080p does not see the same competition as the 40" 1080p field, which is overcrowded. I have a 32" 1080p Toshiba. No apps, no 3D. Cost me $450 2 years ago, and back then it was the cheapest. Used it as a monitor for a while, then passed to on to my daughter for her bedroom.
32" 1080p TVs are very few, and good ones even fewer.
The 40" market is overcrowded, and, if you ask me, all 40" TVs should be 1080p by now. 720p is ridiculous. But I'll accept your premise anyway, since I know even today 50" plasmas that are 720p are selling well.
The problem, is your thought has changed altogether from "this tv sucks for the price" to "a completely different TV missing a bunch of stuff has a cheaper price, for a very limited time".
BF deals are only deals if you're one of the first 10 or so in line at the store (unless it's an online BF deal). That means you better eat your turkey (or whatever) early so you can be at the store early, because most stores are opening early on Thursday.
Somebody else commented on this "will get this TV, keep it till BF and check on the deals. If nothing better, at least I got myself a nice TV. If I can get something better, then I can return this".
Those that get this 32" is because that's the size they want or need. It's the size that fits their need, and the price fits. Chances are, if they're looking for the best deal, they're looking for something bigger.
Sorry if I'm coming out as trying to defend something or someone. I'm just trying to prove to others that, YES, YOU'RE RIGHT, in the bigger scheme of things, this is not the best TV for under $300 (even if it may be the most feature-packed). At the same time, NO, YOU'RE WRONG, I'M RIGHT, when it comes to the best 32" TV for the price.
It's funny, because you're talking about adding a roku player, and this and that, and you still don't end up with the same setup. Roku offers some nice apps. I have one in my daughter's non-smart Toshiba 32" 1080p TV. I'd rather it'd be all integrated into one device, but the roku is small enough. I also like all the picture settings on the Vizio. I can assure you, by experience, that the Toshiba TV you're talking about doesn't have nearly close to the same calibration options of the Vizio.
Agree on disagreeing?
Sorry I'm late somewhere.
Best of luck to all, and apologies if you don't feel my response is helpful.

At 300 for a 32" 1080p? i think my bubble is intact - the toshiba for 179 on bf is 1080p and an extra 10 inches... and that 130 dollars difference will add wifi apps and then some.

Unless that's your case as well, you'll be paying taxes.
