I totally forgot to buy another PSU after my Enermax failed. Was over a year ago but still remember exactly when/how it happened.
It started blaring with this ear-piercing, extremely loud beeping sound like a smoke alarm - except coming from my puter - that sent me into a panic until I finally found out what it was: PSU fan failure, who woulda thunk it, during late-night p0rn session (j/k) but all the same, middle of the night what a surprise. Been using an Antec green 400 something as a temp back-up for so long, I completely forgot about getting another one. I was wondering why my puter has been acting laggy/finicky. Wow, unreal it took this post to help me realize that, been real busy.
This is going to solve so many issues for me, thanks for this nice find and memory trigger

The hell is this?
Good deal. I'd buy if I needed one or had to build a computer for someone right now.

I've sworn off Antecs. Bought one, it died...didn't have receipt. Bought a second one, it died and was able to RMA it. (Kept it sealed just in case of an emergency) Bought no name PSU from Microcenter, and never had problems. Bought a Corsair for my new computer, and it has been running like a champ.
Not to say that this particular model is bad or anything... The price is very good, just wanted add another Antec experience to the thread.

I'd buy this but then I remember this really isn't something I need right now. Id prob have bought it if it weren't for the fact our country is burning down and last week America decided to keep throwing fire on it. At least I would have had hope we are going to start to put out the fire. But no, thanks to stupid people, the treasonous media, and and endless supply of morons who only want free stuff even if they have to destroy America, I now have to spend money on a generator, acquire fire wood, food, water, guns, bullets and gold for the upcoming financial crash and rampant hyperinflation. Its going to be a disaster unlike this world has ever seen. Way worse than the Weimar Republic.
So call me nuts or radical but just remember me when our dollar is barely worth its weight in corn or flour and there is massive unrest/panic all over. We can not keep spending printed money forever without serious serious reprocutions and I hope every last idiot who votes for the flat earther politicians who deny we have a problem suffers the most of all as they brought this upon all of us.

I do not know if a system that requires up to 700 watts would most often use half (since the system is not usually going to be maxed out.

i felt like biting, although it is not Modular, and i am planning a single GTX 670 build. The efficiencies is good at 200 -300 wts load.

|Jookmasta||I highly recommend this power supply. This one in particular rarely goes on sale and at this price point, it trumps most PSUs that hover in this price range. I have been using one for the last year with no hiccups in my gaming rig. The wattage may be overkill for some but honestly, tis best to have more juice than not enough.|
