|MrMockalite||Is this at $649 or the ES6003 for $699 a better deal? (I'm talking about the 46" models)|

depends on the batch, some do not use samsung panel even though it says SAMSUNG on the front.
The only way to confirm is the box label. They have a forum dedicated to EH6000 series at avsforums. You can read more about it.

|vnw98||I really want a 65 inch tv but there is not much of a selection. Only reason I am against this tv is because of its size. I really want a slim tv so I can mount over the fire place. You guys have any recommendations? thanks|

it is tempting indeed..
You just have to roll the dice and hope you get a decent panel which satisfies your need. TV manufacturers are not out there to create the perfect TV. Then you won't upgrade next year

ST told me i can buy from costco if i bought a TV from Frys & Electronics so they should accept from amazon.com too.
Costco also said yes to me as long as it's from an authorized retailer. i dunno if amazon is an authorized retailer tho.
try emailing them both to see what answer you get.
