Looks like it, I wasn't able to see FRY's ad preview cause I don't have a Faceyspace account but thankfully Slickdeals has scans. On the second scanned page in the link below it looks like you can get either a WD 2TB 2.0 USB or a WD 1TB 3.0 USB drive for $58. I may have to order one and cancel/return this one from Newegg. My only concern is I hear some stuff from Frys is refurbished, this thing was on the front page for a while at $90, and Frys can sell it for 35% less than that, and less than half of Amazons price, if it sounds too good to be true.......

For what its worth...
I picked up three of these from the Target deal 2 years ago at $69 each. One of the three failed within the warranty period. WD replaced it with a refurbished model that was dead on arrival. They expedited a second replacement drive. All three are still running great.

shhhh!!!! don't upset the fanboys. Until yesterday, the only hard drive I've ever had go bad was a seagate....and I was still able to recover the data locally for 60 bucks. I know I got lucky, it worked in their dock but not mine or hooked up internally. The last 5 hard drives I've bought (since the failure) have been 3 Seagate and 2 hitachi.
Yesterday I popped my cherry and crossed wires on a molex to sata power connection. I promptly fried a 1tb samsung and 1tb western digital. I learned my lesson. It only takes a second to turn the power off, and its the first data I lost...luckily it wasn't that important.
Oh yeah...Western Digital blows the ball sack off of seagate man...you wouldn't know any better cuz you're a tool!

|Guttersnipe||Actually with the 5 off 25 for Amazon that is going around and the reliability of this drive it turns out to be a decent deal in my opinion. Not sure why there is a problem here but in many cases it seems there is an 'apples to oranges' comparison.|

For 3TB drives Toshiba has the fastest USB 3 speeds, behind the IoSafe Solo G3 according to CENIT tests:
The Seagate Backup Plus was a 1TB model

|joeH1974||I appreciate the link OP. I have 3 of these to back up my WHS, and needed a 4th. Prior 3 have been rock stable, and almost bit at $109.|

|chopsuey||Target had 2 TB hard drives for $69 about 2 years ago during Black Friday. This is not a good deal at all for Black Friday.|

|wkcar||I don't really care about USB 3, since I will have this plugged into the TV. If I can get a 3TB for the same price or less on BF it's great, but I don't know if the TV and set top boxes can read a 2TB+ drive. In all their specs, they say they read up to 2TB.|

|getbigtony||This is not FP worthy, IMO. There was a 3TB deal last week for a little more? usb2.0 as well|
